This is me....

These photos was taken on my 30th birthday...3 years ago this month. I thought I had my future wide open, I was happy, content, healthy...

Fast-forward till today, I went through a pandemic as a critical care nurse, experienced extreme stess and anxiety and then got my diagnosis of Essential Thrombocythemia with a platelets count of 1.5 million, started treatment and now just learning to live with my diagnosis, getting information, managing my anxiety, stress, symptoms and grateful for the now, the today!!

Ruby's Leukaemia & Lymphoma story

In June 2019, Ruby's face started to appear swollen and she felt tired and achy. The GP thought it was allergies. But after ripping out old carpets, changing her bedding and buying an air purifier, her symptoms only seemed to worsen.
