FAQs How much do I have to raise?

  • You pay registration fee of £70 to book your skydive (non-refundable). This will be paid directly to Skyline.
  • We ask you to raise a minimum of £500 and to send us a link to your fundraising page.
  • 80% of your target needs to be raised four weeks before your jump either on your online fundraising page or offline donations sent direct to Leukaemia Cancer Society.
  • We need you to raise the full £500 fundraising target two days before your jump.
  • 30/50% of your fundraising will be used to cover the cost of the skydive. This cost varies depending on your skydive location.
  • Leukaemia Cancer Society will retain the remaining 50-70% of the target plus any additional fundraising you achieve to fund our work.

Do I have to set up an online fundraising page?

  • This is the easiest way to raise funds and to show us that you have met your target. We can help you create your page and give you hints and tips about how to personalise it.
  • If you really prefer to fundraise offline you can use the sponsorship form in our fundraising pack and deposit your sponsorship money with us before the deadlines.

What happens if I cannot raise the minimum sponsorship for my chosen event?

  • Whichever option you choose to jump for Leukaemia Cancer Society (free registration, £70 registration or self-funded jump), you will be required to fill in a form with Skyline to book your jump and by completing this form you understand you will be committing to paying the relevant registration fee, and raising the relevant amount of sponsorship money by the dates outlined.
  • If you fall short of the sponsorship amount, we will work with you to try to establish a means of you paying the money to us.
  • We are here to support you from the moment you sign up to ensure that you are able to raise the required amount. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you have any concerns about reaching your target.
  • It is important that you consider the fundraising commitment to the charity before you apply.

How we help

  • Once your jump date is confirmed we’ll send you our fundraising pack with a Leukaemia Cancer Society snood as well as plenty of resources and tips to help you.

How do I pay in the money I've raised? Pay in your money online

  • If you’ve been collecting money through Just Giving or another online fundraising page then the money will be sent to us automatically.
  • If you are having issues setting up your fundraising page, please call on 020 8374 4821.

You can also send the money through a bank transfer – please call 020 8374 4821 to arrange this.

Can I hold another event, like a raffle, to meet my fundraising target?

  • Yes, there are ideas, hints and tips in the fundraising pack. Please make sure you follow the rules for raffles. Call us on 020 8374 4821 if you need help with this.
