Say goodbye to exercising in your kitchen, dust off your running shoes and raise money fight blood cancer. We have six places in the London Landmarks Half Marathon. The route passes some of London's most iconic landmarks and has been designed to be Covid safe for runners, supporters and the public. Thanks to baby charity Tommy's for organising this event to benefit themselves and support other good causes.
The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster.
2020 was hard for charities like the Leukaemia Cancer Society with all our live events and foreign treks cancelled. This half marathon will celebrate the grand, quirky and hidden landmark moments of 2020 and 2021 and shine a light on how we came together as a nation during the pandemic.
The race starts by The Strand, finishes by Downing Street and has fabulous views of London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.
If you spent last year getting fit in your local park - this half marathon is the perfect way to test your fitness and celebrate your achievement. Leukaemia Cancer Society has six places. We are asking each runner to pay a £20 registration fee and to undertake to raise at least £270. We will showcase your success on our website, support you with training tips along the way and provide cheering supporters on the day.
The organisers are working hard to provide a Covid-19 safe event. Participants will be sent information pre-event specifically detailing the Covid-19 compliance protocols and information will also be communicated through the LLHM website, emails and LLHM 2021 App.
