We are delighted to confirm that following last year’s success the LCS Butterfly Fashion Show will now be held annually in June to coincide with Cancer Survivor’s Day.
Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration of life for those who have survived and an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, it raises awareness and funds for cancer research and patient services.
This year’s charity fashion show will be held on Thursday 16 June 2016 (7pm) at the Penridge Suite, London, N11. Tickets are available at £15/person including a finger buffet. Don’t miss out- come along to this event and enjoy fashion and fun. Try on and buy this seasons fashion at greatly reduced prices. Our Models will also include ladies that have challenged and beaten cancer! All funds raised will go towards the work of the charity, to help as many cancer patients as possible. So if you would like a fantastic night out with your family and friends please call or e-mail us to book your tickets.
The LCSButterfly Campaign has lent it's name to the Fashion Show. Our campaign gets its name from the theory that a butterfly flapping its wings in one part of the world might lead to a hurricane forming in another hemisphere. Just like any one volunteer donor on the bone marrow/ stem cell register can potentially be the lifesaving match for a patient anywhere in the World! Butterflies are also a symbol of hope, joy and a transformation of change: meaning out with the old and in with the new. The same meaning a Stem cell transplant has for a blood cancer patient. We ask that you support this Campaign to help increase the number and diversity on the Bone Marrow / Stem Cell register.
