In its 25th year, the Brighton Half Marathon is one of the most popular races in the running calendar. The flat course makes it perfect for novice runners, taking in the sights of one of the UK's favourite seaside destinations.
The race was started by local running clubs until charity The Sussex Beacon took over its organisation in 2004. Times have changed since the beginning when we used to start the race at the Brighton Marina car park with 200 runners! Over the past few years the race has grown to over 10,000 entrants and is now one of the largest running events in the South East.
It promises to be an amazing day on the seafront, and our running team will be out in force raising money for the Leukaemia Cancer Society.
We would love to have you in our team to help us fight blood cancer, leukaemia being the biggest child killer in the UK.
